Mobile Reflexologist in London Bridge, Bermondsey, Southwark, London
Welcome to Little Steps Reflexology - where little steps lead to bigger things!
I'm Kelly Laher and I am a fully qualified Reflexologist and a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR)
I care about helping other women - we often put so much pressure on ourselves and can live in a constant stressed state, often without even realising it, as its just become our usual way of being! Reflexology can help you relax, help you sleep better and improve your mood.
I am especially passionate about helping women with reproductive & gynaecological disorders, with fertility/pre-conception, pregnancy & post-natal reflexology.
I'm a Mobile Reflexologist in the South East London area so I come to you for the treatment (usually your home) which means you dont have to travel, you can stay in your pj's, you can enjoy the treatment in the comfort of your own home and you can continue to relax or go to sleep straight after the treatment.
I offer mobile reflexology within (but not limited to) London Bridge, Bermondsey, Elephant & Castle, Newington, Camberwell, Dulwich, New Cross, Deptford, Nunhead, Peckham, Rotherhithe, Canada Water.
Each treatment is tailored to your unique personality, situation and reasons for reflexology.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the belief that specific points on your feet (as well as your hands and face) known as reflexes correspond with different parts and systems of your body and by working these points, it can have an effect on the body’s functioning, stimulating its own healing processes
Its a non-intrusive treatment which is not only deeply relaxing, but it also helps to restore the body's natural balance so often put out of whack by our stressful lives, our environment, the amount of exercise we do (or dont do!) the foods we eat and the products we use
Reflexology is a holistic approach - so in conjunction with the treatment itself, a Reflexologist will also consider wider diet, exercise and lifestyle factors which may be impacting your well being
Maternity Reflexologist in London Bridge, South East London
I love supporting women through their pregnancies and beyond. Having had my own child, I can empathise with my clients and appreciate how deeply personal and different everyone's experience is and I respect and care for each of my client's personal journeys and choices.
Reflexology for Conception & Fertility
Deciding to try for a baby is a big step, it is also full of uncertainty:
How long will it take? Will I encounter any problems? Is there anything ‘wrong' with me or my partner? Can I even fall pregnant?
And as you go along your preconception journey the pressure can build, creating the very conditions which can work against conception happening. Because stress directly affects the hormone levels in our bodies, it is key to reduce stress in our daily lives.
Reflexology is one of many complementary therapies which can help you relax and reduce your stress levels. Wherever you are on your conception journey, I offer holistic support and care, tailored to your needs.
Most doctors and fertility specialists are supportive of Reflexology alongside IVF treatment
Pregnancy is a very exciting time but it can also bring a lot of anxiety - from the physical, hormonal and emotional changes you experience as well as knowing you are the one responsible for the well-being of your baby - Talk about pressure!
Reflexology is a great way to manage your stress levels during pregnancy. Treatments take place in the comfort of your own home - usually seated on a sofa so you can relax safely without putting pressure on your vena cava.
Research has shown that reflexology during labour can reduce the the length and intensity of labour pain (Motha & McGrath, 1989; Valiani et al, 2010). I offer treatments to my clients in labour, depending on my availability. I can also teach birth partners techniques for them to support you during your labour. Please speak to me if you are interested in these additional services.
While much of your pregnancy focuses on preparing for the birth – once baby arrives there are a whole heap of new stresses and worries to deal with - from recovering from the birth itself, to feeding and lack of sleep. Self-care is important during this time - as the saying goes you cant fill from an empty cup!
Little Steps Reflexology can support you as you settle into motherhood - by providing a bit of me-time and relaxation. Because I offer treatments in the comfort of your own home, you can have baby on your lap or nearby.
I also can share some reflexology techniques for you to use on your baby too!
