I worked in the corporate world for over 10 years , using my Psychology background to try and help businesses understand consumer behaviour to sell more products. In 2013 I was diagnosed with endometriosis, a chronic gynaecological condition, which led me to explore complementary medicine as a means to managing the illness holistically rather than facing a possible future of multiple surgeries and hormonal treatment.
My diagnosis and interest in complementary therapies inspired me to train as a Reflexologist. I qualified at the London School of Reflexology in 2015 under Louise Keet, author of the Reflexology Bible. The course and my weekly treatments had a profound impact on my well-being and I fell pregnant while on the course! My personal experience with Reflexology has led me to develop a special interest in women's health and pregnancy reflexology.
For me working as a Reflexologist supporting women on their deeply personal and unique journeys makes me feel like I am doing more meaningful work. It has also offered me an alternate path to working in the corporate world and to be more flexible with my working hours so that I can spend more time with my family.
Through Reflexology I can have a small positive impact supporting other women and that is soul inspiring!
